About Ellie
Meet Ellie 💛
Ellie hasn't had the easiest start in life, but this gentle girl is ready to find her happily-ever-after. She may be a little shy at first, but beneath that nervous exterior is a sweet soul just waiting to blossom in the right home.
Ellie is a huge fan of wand toys - bring one out and you'll see her inner superstar shine! Playtime is the perfect way to build her confidence and bond with her (bonus points if tasty rewards follow her hard work). With patience, routine, and lots of encouragement, Ellie will truly come into her own.
She's looking for a calm, predictable home with adults, or possibly cat-savvy teens who understand feline body language and are happy to give her the time she needs. Ellie would thrive with adopters who see the beauty in a "project cat" and are excited to help her grow.
While she may not be a full-time lap cat, she'll happily hang out nearby - your quiet little shadow and loyal companion. 🐾
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
