About Snapple
*In foster care in Erskineville, Sydney*
Meet Snapple - a wonderfully friendly, easygoing young lady who's the purrfect mix of sociable and independent!
Completely unfazed by the bustle of day-to-day life, Snapple's always up for meeting new people and doesn't hide from strangers or loud noises. When she's had enough attention, she politely excuses herself (not really) and finds somewhere quieter to hang out in peace :) She adores chest rubs, and will patiently tolerate being picked up and held for a short time.
Even when she's doing her own thing, Snapple likes to know what's going on in the house, and will check in periodically for a status update and some pats. For anyone working from home, she's a great companion, often choosing a cosy spot near your desk for napping and occasionally starring in your Zoom calls!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Snapple is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Most types of homes would suit me, I think! I'm comfortable around humans, but I'm great at entertaining myself too - exploring, playing and finding nice places to snooze when it's time to recharge. I love looking out windows and would enjoy a cat-safe outdoor space if available, but it's certainly not a requirement.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I sometimes get the zoomies, and have the odd play here and there with my toys, but in general I'm pretty relaxed. A day spent lounging around the house in the comfiest spots is a good day to me :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Movement and loud noises don't bother me, and I happily accept pats from new people - even the two-year-old toddler I met recently! So a family home would likely be fine, as long as there are safe places for me to retreat to when needed.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Though I haven't had the chance to meet any other pets since arriving in foster care, as an ex-breeding cat my mumma hormones may prevent me from making friends with other resident cats and dogs.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
