About Dale - 18 Month Old Jack Russell
Dale is a lovable and affectionate Jack Russell Terrier, around 18 months old just under 7kg, with a beautiful, gentle nature and a big love for being with his people.
Dale enjoys playtime - especially a good game with a tennis ball - and is just as happy to entertain himself with a chew toy. While he enjoys getting out for a walk, he doesn’t need long or intense exercise. A short 15-20 minute walk once or twice a day suits him perfectly, after which he’s more than content to come home, curl up, and enjoy one of his favourite pastimes… napping.
Like many young dogs, Dale has a bit of youthful enthusiasm and can get over-excited during play or when he’s especially happy as he is still learning his manners. He settles quickly with gentle redirection and is very responsive to calm guidance.
This sweet boy thrives on companionship and would be happiest in a multi-person household with another friendly dog, or with someone who works from home and can keep him company during the day. Buddy doesn’t bark, is toilet trained, and settles beautifully into home life. He is untested with cats and children. We recommend kids over 8 and a home with no cats or pocket pets.
Dale would suit a wide range of homes. He’s dog friendly with large and small dogs, affectionate, and absolutely loves belly rubs, cuddles and attention. He has a gentle soul and a very endearing way of quietly winning hearts.
Dale’s adoption fee is $800. He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms. He is in foster care in Merewether, NSW. He is available for adoption in NSW & ACT (no flights).
