✨ Hey friends, my name is Lylah. I’m a brave little survivor with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddles! I’m an easy‑going, affectionate kitty who wants nothing more than to be close to my humans.
My journey to Street Cat Alliance Qld started in a scary way. I was hit by a car and taken to a vet clinic for urgent treatment. While the team searched for my owners, I spent two weeks in foster care for treatment, resting, and healing. When my owners finally found me, they made the difficult decision to surrender me due to the cost of ongoing care.
SCA stepped in and made sure I had everything I needed — eight full weeks of crate rest, medications, and lots of gentle support. Once I was fully recovered, I was desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Now I’m healthy, happy, and ready for my forever home.
If you’re looking for a confident, smoochy, velcro‑style lap cat… that’s me! I adore being with my humans and will happily spend all day on your lap, on the couch, or curled up in bed with you.
I’m incredibly easy‑going and sweet‑natured — even the crankier cats in my foster home can’t ruffle my whiskers. I’m gentle, affectionate, and always ready for cuddles, pats, and attention. I really am the definition of a sweetheart.
I’ve been a dream to introduce to other cats — truly one of the easiest my foster family has ever met. I get along beautifully with feline friends and would be very happy in a home with other cats. I’d also be perfectly content as the only cat, as long as I have a human who loves snuggles as much as I do. To help us start off on the right paw, please follow the SCA Qld introduction resources sent to you by email.
I am yet to be tested with dogs and children, but my gentle, affectionate nature means I’m likely to adapt well, especially if I have cosy spots to retreat to when I need quiet time. 💗
I love my food — maybe a little too much! I’m known to try sneaking everyone else’s dinner, so my foster family pops me in a separate room at mealtimes to help me keep my figure. I’m also excellent with my litter tray — tidy, reliable, and easy to care for.
I’m a wonderful, affectionate girl who will fit beautifully into almost any family when given time to settle in.
