This sweet baby has paws as big as his heart ❤️
Quibble is a bouncy, energetic boy who thrives on connection and loves being part of the action. He’s still learning about the world and needs a bit of reassurance so he doesn’t get overwhelmed by new experiences, but don’t let that fool you! Once he’s comfortable, he has full main-character energy and takes it all in stride. Quibble is steadily gaining confidence and enjoys being included in everyday life with the family.
Quibble approaches life at 100%. If he’s awake, he’s moving, exploring, and investigating everything within reach and, when he’s done, he flops over and falls asleep in seconds, complete with impressively loud snores. Because of this zest for life, he needs appropriate outlets so long-lasting chews like bones or goat horns are a must. Without them, he’ll happily redirect his chewing talents to shoes or furniture.
He’s also still learning the basics, including toilet training, but is making steady progress with consistency and routine. Quibble will need a calm, patient and consistent home to continue building his trust and confidence.
Quibble adores kids, but he’s still figuring out how big and strong he is. He’s learning not to jump up, so a family with children aged 12+ would suit him best while he continues his training.
Quibble would be perfectly content as an only dog—being the centre of attention definitely suits him. He is beautifully behaved when greeting dogs on lead. However, off lead his enthusiasm can be a lot. His boisterous energy and a play style that is loud and physical can be overwhelming. A confident, larger dog who can show him the ropes and is comfortable setting limits to help him develop polite play skills would suit him best.
Quibble has shown interest in our cats but, after a good sniff, has happily left them alone.
Quibble will thrive in a home that can match his energy, provide structure, and continue his training—especially one that appreciates a big-hearted, enthusiastic dog who lives life all-in and loves just as hard as he plays.
