About Dustin
Meet Dustin!
Dustin is the kind of kitten who steals your heart quietly. He may be shy when it comes to humans, but beneath that soft exterior is a sweet boy who just needs a little reassurance. Once you pick him up and give him a snuggle, his purr motor starts up and you can feel how much he wants to trust and be loved.
Dustin truly shines with other cats and would love a feline friend in his forever home. Having a confident kitty companion will help him build confidence, offering him the love, support, and security he needs to blossom. He’s happiest making friends, following their lead, and forming gentle bonds.
With time, patience, and a kind family, Dustin will grow into a treasured member of the household. He may not be the boldest boy right away, but he has so much love to give — he just needs someone willing to give him a chance 💫

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
