About Ash
🖤 Queen Ash 🖤
Ash is an 11‑month‑old black beauty who knows exactly who she is - and she expects the world to respect it. Affectionate? Yes. Smoochy? Absolutely... on her terms. When Queen Ash chooses you, you'll be rewarded with cuddles, purrs, and moments of genuine devotion that make earning her trust completely worth the wait.
Ash very much runs her own kingdom and has made a few royal decrees. Other cats are not welcome in her realm, and small or energetic humans need not apply - the Queen prefers her peace and personal space.Mature, respectful children may be granted an audience, provided they understand that Ash sets the rules.
Confident, independent, and full of quiet charm, Ash would thrive in a calm home where her boundaries are understood and respected. In return, she'll offer loyal companionship, understated affection, and the honour of sharing your home with feline royalty.
A home fit for a queen is what Ash is waiting for - could it be yours?

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
