Bambi came into CARMAR care following a family decision that she was to young and boisterous for her elderly owners. She is a 12 month old puppy who on the main is gentle and very affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with her people once she trusts them and thrives on human companionship.

She however does of course get the cheeky puppy exuberance and can definitely cause tripping hazards. She needs play time and exercise and loves playing chasey with a ball or tug of war with a rope toy.

Sadly her elderly owners have not been physically able to walk her on a daily basis. Which has made her wary of humans strangers. Younger family members visited on a weekly basis had been walking her on the street. They always brought their own dogs who Bambi enjoyed playing with, another Frenchie and a Groodle. Bambi also adored the grand kids a 2yo, 3yo and a 6yo child respectively.
She loves attention and is happiest spending time close to those she trusts.

She is currently living as an inside/outside dog, is fully toilet trained, uses a doggy door and adores sleeping in your bed with you! *She has since happily adjusted to sleeping on her couch in her foster carers loungeroom.

Bambi adores car travel and is a very good caravanning companion who enjoys the 24/7 enviroment that her retired owners provided.

Compatibility:
Bambi is great with other dog friendly dogs and has been introduced successfully to dog friendly cats. She will however chase if they run, because that's her game!

Ideal Home:
Bambi would be best suited to an environment where she has human company 24/7 a retired couple who want a travel companion or young family with kids would be ideal.
Thankfully Bambi does not display separation anxiety, so if you need to leave home to go grocery shopping or a few hours work she is happy to lay on the couch or your bed until you return.

Bambi is a loving and devoted companion who has a lot of affection to give. She is now looking for a forever home where she can feel secure, loved, and part of a family again.

All CARMAR cats & canines are fostered in private homes,in the Campaspe shire area which is 3 hours North of Melbourne.
They are introduced to the comings and goings, noises, smells and environments of a normal household. They are all temperament tested, recieve basic training, are desexed, michrochipped,vaccinated,wormed, flea free.
