About Gatsby π
ππΎ Adopt Gatsby π What a Man, What a Mighty Good Man π±
Gatsby π truly lives up to his name. This handsome little man was rescued from a heartbreaking situation, living in a makeshift shelter with a food bowl full of leaves and abandoned in the middle of nowhere. It was incredibly sad, but Gatsby proved just how strong and resilient he really is. You might have even followed his story on our page.....
He is a true survivor with an independent spirit, but he also knows how to relax and enjoy the good life. Gatsby happily accepts pats, purrs, shows his gratitude in the sweetest ways, and is clearly very content in his new safe home.
Gatsby lives beautifully indoors but enjoys the occasional wander outside in a 100% secure area only, where he can soak up some fresh air safely. Best of both worlds for this flexible fellow.
He gets along well with other cats and doggies, but would also be perfectly happy as an only child soaking up all the attention. Gatsby really is an easy going, adaptable boy who will fit into many different homes.
If you are looking for a charming, resilient and affectionate companion, Gatsby π could be your perfect match π‘β¨

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitmentβboth emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. Weβll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, weβd love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, weβll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isnβt the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
