About Jai
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- Lots of love to give to Jai - as this is his first chance of being a loved pet!
Jai is the most gentle, well-mannered boy you could hope to meet.
This quiet natured, easy going greyhound who loves human company and adores cuddles and pats without ever being demanding. He walks beautifully on the lead without pulling, is confident in any situation and waits quietly at your side no matter how long you sit at that cafe.
Jai is friendly with medium to large dogs but is uncertain what to make of small ones. He walks quietly past all dogs on the lead without any fuss. He is currently living with another younger male greyhound in his foster home and they get on fine.
Like many greyhounds, Jai loves to spend most of his leisure time indoors - either flat on his back or playing with toys. His curious, intelligent personality shows in the way he likes to investigate and collect objects, peer through windows, admire himself in the mirror and at times watch TV! (He feels sure those animals have escaped to another room and tries to find them.)
This endearing, young at heart greyhound is a wonderful companion and has so much yet to give.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
