About Maple
Maple was originally found as a stray and was once someone’s pet as she was wearing a pink collar but sadly her people didn’t come looking for her so she found herself at the pound before we scooped her up and gave her a second chance.
When Maple first arrived, she was understandably scared and confused about what was happening. On her first night in her foster home, she tried her best to find her brave but by the next morning it happened. She started to seek out pats and affection from her foster carers and now she can’t get enough of those belly rubs.
Over the coming days she has proved to be quite inquisitive. Perhaps inside is a new concept for her as the flushing toilet is of great interest.
Maple has started to enjoy the thrill of playing with toys. Another favourite is the hose, which is very high on her list of likes.
She sleeps well in her crate. Maple has had a couple of toilet accidents inside the house but with gentle encouragement she will soon have this mastered.
Maple is learning gardening manners so just watch those pot plants as she is willing to help with some repotting!
This young lady is an absolute delight with chocolate eyes to draw you in (which certainly help with getting those extra snackies).
Maple hasn’t been around younger children or cats so would need slow introductions if they were to be part of her forever home as loud or sudden noises can be frightening to her (the sound of neighbourhood children did make her a little unsure so it would depend on the children).
Overall, she is a delight, a bit of an overgrown puppy currently weighing 23kgs learning so many things for the first time but with further training she will grow into a well-adjusted young lady and someone will be so lucky to have her as part of their family.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
