Meet Axel - our 31kg bundle of love, laughter, and legendary zoomies!

This handsome 2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier is basically a giant puppy in a very solid, wiggly body. Axel is a certified Big Goofball who doesn't always realise quite how big he is, expect enthusiastic tail wags, dramatic flop down cuddles, and the occasional joyful bounce when he's excited to see you.

Personality Plus

Axel is incredibly smoochy and adores his humans. If you're sitting down, he'll happily glue himself to your side (or attempt to become a 31kg lap dog). He thrives on affection, enjoys a good play session, and will reward you with the sweetest, squishiest face and full body wiggles.

Walks & Adventures

Axel is strong on lead, this boy has muscles and he knows how to use them! He'll need to head home with a harness to help manage his strength while he continues working on his loose lead skills. With consistent training and guidance, he'll make a fantastic walking buddy.

Family Fit

Axel would be best suited to a home with secondary school aged, dog savvy children who understand his size and enthusiasm. He's friendly and affectionate but can be a bit of a bull-in-a-china shop when he's excited!

Other Dogs

He may be able to live with another dog pending a successful meet and greet. He enjoys canine company, but we'd want to ensure the personalities are a good match.
