Hello there, my name is Shrimp — your new favourite little Aussie icon. Once upon a time, I was a tiny country lad, a bit lost and searching for love and safety. Now I’m thriving in foster care and ready to find my forever home — one filled with cuddles, comfort, and plenty of affection.

Nature
I am an absolute affection addict. If you’re looking for a cat who truly loves human company, I deliver in spades. I’ll happily roll straight onto my back for belly rubs, purring away like a tiny motorboat the entire time.

Playtime is one of my favourite hobbies — cat wands are my weakness, and I’ll chase them with great enthusiasm until my zoomies are well and truly burned off. After that, you’ll find me stretched out on the couch, soaking up the good life like the little legend I am. Sweet, smoochy, playful, and endlessly charming — I’m more than ready to trade foster life for a family who will adore me.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with lots of other cats in my foster home and get along beautifully with all of them. There are also three dogs here — I haven’t officially met them yet, but I’m confident I’d do just fine with a calm, cat-savvy dog friend. There are plenty of kids in my foster home too, and when they get the zoomies, I love to join in — I’m very much a people cat who enjoys being part of the action.

My PURR-fect home would be a cosy place where I can soak up pats, have plenty of good chats with my humans, and crash on the couch like the little king I am. I’d love a family who enjoys cuddles, doesn’t mind a bit of cat hair on the lounge, and understands that the vacuum is my mortal enemy. If you’ve got toys to chase, tasty wet food on the regular, and humans who are happy to spoil me rotten — well… I’m already packing my bags.

Medical Notes: Shrimp has some mild scarring on his right eye from a previous corneal ulcer. It isn’t causing him any problems and may fade over time, though it may remain visible.
