A Special Little Guy ✨
Chip is a beautiful white kitten and happens to be deaf. 👂🚫 This doesn't slow him down at all, though he can sometimes be startled if you wake him up from a deep nap, he’s just a heavy sleeper! 😴 Because of his white coat and his hearing, Chip is strictly an indoor-only adventurer to keep him safe and sound. 🏠🛡️

Being hand-raised, Chip’s bond with humans is extra special. He’s a high-energy boy who loves to play hard and snuggle harder. He’s looking for a family that will embrace his zest for life and give him all the chin scratches he can handle. 💆♂️

Medical notes
Chip happens to be deaf, but he certainly doesn’t let that slow him down! Being deaf doesn’t affect his quality of life at all, he is just as playful, curious, and adventurous as any other kitten.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
