Rose

Introducing Rose, a black brindle female kelpie who is an active, playful young girl. Rose has missed out on some key early socialisation and has had limited exposure to everyday sights and sounds, so she'll benefit from a patient, committed owner who can gently guide her as she gains confidence in daily life.

She enjoys enrichment activities and loves engaging with her wobbler and snuffle mats. True to her kelpie nature, she's very smart and already knows her Sit and Down. With ongoing training in the home, Rose will continue to flourish. She'll need to be allowed indoors and included in family routines to help her feel secure and connected.

Rose can be a little unsure at times, especially in new environments. Taking things slowly and allowing her time to settle into the home before heading out on walks will set her up for success. She also LOVES her soft toys, happily self‑playing and carrying them around, often bringing them to her crate area.

A home with older children is recommended, as Rose can become jumpy or easily aroused with lots of fast movement or noise. She also likes to gather toys in her safe space, so families will need to keep an eye on kids' belongings.

Rose will need a home without small animals or birds. She'll also need to meet any resident dog at the time of adoption; the other dog should be calm and respectful. Feeding separately and supervising around toys is advised.

Secure 6‑foot fencing and no access to the front yard are required to keep her safe.
