Yumi Ragdoll came into care with Cat People of Melbourne after being surrendered from another rescue when her previous owner was no longer able to care for her. She is a truly special girl whose gentle heart and exquisite beauty leave a lasting impression on everyone she meets.

Yumi is a stunning seal bicolour Ragdoll with luxurious long fur, breathtaking blue eyes and an unmistakably regal presence. She carries herself like the queen she is — soft, graceful and delicate — and thrives in calm, predictable environments. While she can be a little anxious at first, once she feels safe she reveals herself to be deeply loyal and hugely loving, forming strong bonds with her people.

This pampered princess adores quiet companionship and gentle routines. One of her greatest joys is being carefully groomed while relaxing on the couch or bed with you, rolling around contentedly so every part can be reached. She enjoys soft pats, tasty treats and being admired from every angle. Yumi prefers a peaceful household and does not cope well with loud noises, busy environments, or cats that pick on her. When frightened she may hide, but she settles and re-emerges quickly once she feels secure.

Yumi would be best suited to a calm, adults-only home where she can be cherished, spoiled and given the consistency she needs to feel confident. She is selective with other animals and would do best either as an only pet or with very respectful companions. To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
