About Cassie
Meet Cassie - Your Future Furry Weighted Blanket
Cassie is a gorgeous tabby queen with curves in all the right places and the confidence of a true diva. This chunky little lady is on the lookout for a new family to adore, supervise, and bless with her considerable smoochy talents.
Personality & Charms
Cassie is a master of affection-super smoochy, cuddly, and prone to turning herself into a purring, warm, live-weighted blanket right when you need it most. She's a champion at comfort, companionship, and bear-hugging snuggles.
But don't be fooled-behind all that sweetness is a girl with an independent streak and a flair for drama. Cassie knows how to make an entrance... usually by stomping majestically down the hallway toward her food bowl, but an entrance is an entrance!
Her Ideal Home
Cassie is seeking a household that understands she is, in fact, the one running it. In return, she'll shower her people with affection, companionship, and some of the most rewarding moments a feline friend can offer.
She would do best in a home with:
Adults or older kids who know how to respect her boundaries
No "sticky hands" or anyone wanting to carry her around like a furry shopping bag
People who appreciate a cat who sits beside them-while she purrs like a V8 engine syncing perfectly with your racing game soundtrack

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
