About Amos (67570)
Amos is an energetic young lad who is smart as a whip and eager to please. With oodles of enthusiasm and drive, he's looking for a family experienced with working breeds who live an active, adventurous lifestyle.
He has no previous history living with children, so a home with kids aged 12 years and over is preferred. Due to a negative experience at a dog park, Amos is currently cautious around other dogs and would be best suited as the only canine in the home. He is, however, making excellent progress in structured social groups at the shelter and continues to build his confidence, though he isn't quite ready to share his home with another dog just yet.
Amos has no history living with cats and is best suited to a cat-free home. He would make an ideal candidate for dog sports or advanced training, as his strong handler focus and keen, ready-to-go attitude lend themselves well to channelling his energy into purposeful activities.
Amos is housetrained and walks well on lead, and with the right guidance and outlets, he has the potential to be an outstanding companion.
