About Mira
Meet Mira, a bright and cheeky female Kelpie pup with classic black and tan markings, armed with eyes that could melt even the toughest of hearts. She’s ready to steal the spotlight in your life.
Mira’s personality is pure energy: playful, curious, and full of charm. She loves chew toys, adores cuddles and never misses a chance to show off her stage moves (aka zoomies) after a big day of exploring. If you’re looking for a pup who can turn your home into a stage production full of laughs and endless energy, Mira’s your girl.
Training? She’s already hitting the right notes! Mira comes when called, waits patiently for her food like a true professional, sleeps soundly in her crate all night. Her potty training and learning to sit/stay is well underway. She’s a fast learner and, food motivated and loves a good cuddle between jobs.
Mira’s forever home needs to be active and understand the needs of working dog breeds. She thrives on mental and physical stimulation and would love a family that appreciates her energy and drive. While she could grow into a fantastic working dog, she hasn’t been tested yet—so a home that really values her instincts and superstar personality is all she wants. Mira will need a good sized yard with secure fencing, as she is a very smart and nimble pup.
Ready to give Mira her debut stage? Apply now.
Mira is located in the ACT.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
