Hi I’m Tuna and my purrr-tential is endless! I haven’t had the best luck with humans. I am slowly realising the home life is far better than the streets, and have officially began my self-improvement era. I raised four beautiful babies like the superstar Mum I am, and now it’s my turn.

I let my walls down for my Foster Mum surprisingly quickly — accepting pats and even gifting her little chirps whenever I want treats. However, I’ll still need a home that respects my boundaries in the beginning and is happy to admire me from a distance. Affection will be on my terms until I know you’re safe.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Given that I strongly believe loud noises should be illegal, I’d be best suited to a mature home. Visitors are no issue as I’ll likely hide - I am slowly coming around to the little kids and dog in my foster home from the safety of my own space and I am fine with fellow felines but it will take me some time to adjust to new friends.

Likes / Dislikes
I’m a tidy and polite kitty who uses the litter tray and is very independent. If needy cats aren’t your cup of tea, I might be perfect!

I do not like to be picked up or handled just yet. Chin scritches and creamy treats are acceptable.

My PURR-fect home would be a calm home, a comfy windowsill, and a human who understands that I’m a gentle soul who blossoms with patience. I’d be well suited to full time workers as I’m very low maintenance! As long as my food bowl is refilled I’m content.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
