Blitzen

Blitzen is a sweet ginger boy who is still finding his courage in the world. He’s very shy and can hiss when first approached. This is not because he’s unkind, but because his mum was a spicy stray who never learned that people could be trusted, and Blitzen is still unlearning that fear himself.

With a little time and space, Blitzen begins to settle, and his softer side slowly emerges. He will engage in play once he feels safe, and toys are a lovely way to help him relax and build confidence. He is also very food motivated and has a special love for creamy treats and wet cat food - truly the quickest way to his heart and a powerful tool for trust-building.

With patience, consistency and gentle handling, Blitzen has the potential to grow more confident over time, though he may always be a shy boy at heart. He would thrive in a calm, understanding home, ideally adopted alongside his brother (Dasher) or into a home with a friendly, confident cat who can help show him that the world (and people) aren’t so scary after all.
