About Orso (67572)
Orso came to GAWS as a stray with no known prior history. During his time with us, he has shown himself to be a truly handsome gentleman with a calm, steady demeanour and a 100% chance of stealing your heart.
Orso prefers his own space around other dogs and practices calm avoidance when socialising, meaning he poses no risk but will never be a social butterfly. He has become more comfortable sharing space with small dogs in controlled settings; however, he would be best suited as the only dog in the home.
While Orso has no known history with cats, a carefully managed introduction suggests he may be able to live with a dog-savvy feline. He may need guidance adjusting to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle and will require ongoing senior care as he moves gracefully into his golden years.
Orso has no known history with children but may suit a home with respectful, dog-savvy children aged 10 years and over who understand and honour canine boundaries. He loves a good game of fetch and walks beautifully on lead, making him a wonderful companion for relaxed outings and quiet time at home.
