Banjo - 6 Year Old Kelpie X

Banjo is a 6-year-old Kelpie X with a heart as big as his personality. At around 25kg, he’s a strong, active boy who lives for quality time with his people and absolutely thrives on love, attention and fun.

This gorgeous boy is affectionate, energetic and has a wonderful off switch when it’s time to relax, especially if belly rubs are involved. He’s a true fetch fanatic and will happily keep you entertained with games, walks or simply being by your side.

Banjo is house-trained and does best when he has some structure and routine to help him feel secure and settled. Because he can get a little ‘over the top’ when he’s excited, he would be best suited to a home with children aged 6 and over.

When it comes to other dogs, Banjo would be happiest as an only dog where he can soak up all the love. He may be able to live with a very calm, similarly sized dog, but slow introductions and a low-key companion would be essential, as he can become overly excited around other dogs.

Banjo’s ideal home:
• An active household that enjoys walks and playtime
• Someone who can give him plenty of attention and engagement
• An only-dog home, or possibly with a very calm dog of similar size
• Children aged 6+

Banjo’s yard needs to be completely fenced, ready for a dog with permanent fixtures in place. The yard must be cleared of rubbish and choke hazards, with no gaps in the fences or gates.

Banjo is in foster care in Sydney, NSW and is not available for interstate adoption. His adoption fee is $500 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms and microchipped.
