Arwen is a sensitive, gentle girl who is still learning that humans can be kind and safe. She is timid and doesn’t yet fully trust people, often running away if approached too quickly. Arwen needs a very slow, gentle approach — she will sniff your finger and may allow a brief touch, but she is not yet comfortable with pats or scratches.

Despite this, she is making quiet progress. Arwen is beginning to trust enough to stay nearby while you sit close, choosing observation over retreat, which is a big step for her. With patience and consistency, her confidence continues to grow.

Where Arwen truly shines is with other cats. She absolutely loves feline company — playing, snuggling, and forming strong bonds. She has become particularly attached to a resident teenage boy cat and is cheeky and confident when interacting with cats. Because of this, Arwen must have a confident young cat or kitten in the home to help her feel secure and continue developing socially.

Arwen is also learning to live alongside friendly dogs. She keeps a little distance but finds them interesting and is happy to observe them calmly from afar when they respect her space.

She enjoys a lovely balance of playtime and rest, and takes great pleasure in discovering all the best snuggle spots around the house for her naps.

Arwen is looking for a patient, understanding home that will allow her to move at her own pace. In the right environment, with the right feline companion, she has the potential to continue blossoming and revealing more of her personality over time.
