Mango is a gentle soul who has blossomed from a young, shy mama into a brave and curious explorer. After raising her kittens (including the zesty Fanta!), she has rediscovered her own youthful spirit. She is the perfect blend of a calm "old soul" and a daring adventurer.

🧗♀️ Expert Climber: Now that she’s finished her nursery duties, Mango has found her wings! She is an expert climber who loves to explore the vertical world. You’ll often find her perched high on a cat tree, finally enjoying the peace and quiet of the "upper levels."
🔎 Observant Investigator: Mango is ready to investigate anything new, but she does it with grace. She’ll "chat" to you with soft, sweet chirps as she explores a new room or sniffs out a new toy. She’s curious, clever, and very observant of everything her humans do.
🎾 The Playful Side Rediscovered: Mango is finding her inner kitten again! She will play with anything, from a feathered wand to a rolling ball. Watching her rediscover her own playful side is a joy to behold, she’s learning that life can be just as much about fun as it is about family.
☁️ Professional Snuggler: Mango is a world-class affectionate companion. She absolutely loves a snuggle, especially belly rubs and head scratches. She is the type of cat who will happily fall asleep in your arms, purring her thanks for the love you give her.

Mango has a deep well of love to give and is looking for a home that offers her the stability she deserves.
-Better with a Buddy: Mango must go together with another cat! She gets along beautifully with other felines (like her son, Fanta) and finds confidence in having a companion to explore with. 👯♀️

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
