After being the most devoted, patient mama to her four kittens (Minx, Spook, Jingle and Pixie-Belle), it is finally Meatball’s turn to be the star of the show! She’s traded her "nursery" duties for a life of exploration, and she’s enjoying every second of it.

🧗♀️ The Vertical Matriarch: Don't let her calm nature fool you, Meatball is an expert climber! Now that she isn't watching over kittens, she loves to scale the highest cat trees to survey her kingdom. She’s surprisingly agile and loves the view from the top.
🔎 Always Investigating: She has a curious soul and is ready to investigate anything new. Whether it’s a new brush to be groomed with or a mysterious shopping bag on the floor, Meatball is there with her exotic eyes wide and her tail twitching in excitement.
🎾 Playtime Enthusiast: She’s still young at heart and will play with anything! After months of watching her kittens play, she’s discovered she’s a pro at chasing feather wands and "wrestling" with catnip toys.
☁️ Expert Snuggler: Above all, Meatball is a world-class lover. She adores snuggles, loves being brushed until she shines, and greets you with soft, gentle meows that feel like a warm hug. She is the ultimate companion for someone who wants a mix of "adventure buddy" and "lap warmer."
🏠 Her Perfect Home
Meatball has been through a lot of change and is looking for her forever "happily-ever-after."
-Stable & Loving: She craves a secure home where she can finally relax and feel cherished.
-The Perfect Partner: Meatball must go together with one of her kittens or a feline friend. She is very friendly with other cats and finds comfort in having a companion to explore with. 👯♀️
-Sun & Safety: A cozy spot by a sunny window for bird-watching is her version of a 5-star resort.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
