About Spike - 11 Week Old Kelpie X
Spike is a cheeky, affectionate little Kelpie x who brings energy and fun wherever he goes. He adores splashing in water, and when fully vaccinated, will happily join you for a play at the beach, creek or backyard paddling. He’s happiest when he has canine company. Spike loves rumbling and wrestling with his sisters and learns quickly through play.
Spike is already showing great self-settling skills; when he’s had enough he’ll take himself to a quiet spot to rest, and he sleeps quietly through the night. Toilet training is underway and he’s responding well to routine. Spike sits for treats, comes when called and is learning to wait. He loves his food so training is proving rewarding. He’s bright, eager to explore and will thrive with consistent, positive training and regular mental and physical exercise – treats will also help!
Spike’s perfect family is an active household that can meet his exercise and play needs. A home with children aged 8 years and older (he’s a lively pup and needs slightly older kids). Families with another playful dog would be a great match. Owners committed to ongoing training, socialisation and puppy care.
His ideal yard will need to fully enclosed and with secure fencing to keep him safe.
