Vertical Ambitions: Moriarty believes the floor is lava. He is an expert climber who will find the highest point in any room. If you have tall bookshelves or cat trees, he’ll be king of the castle in no time!
The Investigator: Curiosity didn't hurt this cat; it made him smarter. He is ready to investigate anything new. A cardboard box? A mysterious shopping bag? A tapping sound? He’s on the case immediately.
Will Play With... Everything: You don't need fancy gadgets (though he loves them). Moriarty will turn a stray bottle cap or a rogue shadow into an hour-long epic battle. His energy is boundless and his comedic timing is perfect.
The Plot Twist: Underneath that "criminal mastermind" exterior lies a total sweetheart. Once he’s conquered his mountain for the day, he absolutely loves a snuggle. He will seek you out for warm laps and loud, vibrating purrs.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
