About Pixie & Dixie - 7 Week Old Domestic Short Hair
About a month ago, the Dog Rescue Newcastle team was contacted by a very caring couple regarding a gorgeous calico cat who appeared on their doorstep. Neighbours were asked and a door knock produced no details on this sweet girl. Then 6-7 weeks ago Mumma cat (now called Shanti) arrived with two gorgeous bundles of fluffy gingerness.
Meet playful pair Pixie & Dixie! Pixie the boy & Dixie the girl are absolutely delightful together -they have embraced life in their foster home with two dogs and a few other cats and kittens. Without their collars on telling them apart is difficult.
After being cared for with TLC and love from the outset, these two would be able to be adopted separately (or together to the right home) to add smiles and fun times to any home. They would make wonderful family pets and are suited to kids of all ages.
The kittens are litter trained (they may have occasional accidents but then they are still just babies). They are only available to indoor only homes.
They are in foster care in Rankin Park, NSW. They are only available for adoption to Sydney, Central Coast and Newcastle areas. The adoption fee is $250 each, or $450 for the pair. They will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
