Jelly will benefit from a home with a confident, calm handler who can provide clear guidance and consistent boundaries. She is the kind of dog who thrives when she knows what is expected of her. With the right leadership, Jelly’s playful nature and eagerness can be channelled into great habits and a strong bond.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Jelly, please submit an online adoption application. We can arrange a meet and greet so you can get to know her. SAFE is a foster-based rescue, so while we do not have a shelter you can visit, fostering means we know our animals well and can support you through the process.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.

2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.

3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.

4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
