Meet Stella & Maurice – a bonded duo with big personalities and even bigger hearts

Stella (Black) and Maurice (Fawn) are a bonded pair of French Bulldogs, both 5 years old, and best friends through and through. Where one goes, the other follows.

Let’s talk energy. Maurice is convinced he’s the size of a Great Dane, strutting through life with swagger, confidence and absolutely no concept of personal space. Manners are… a work in progress. He’ll need clear guidance, structure and ongoing training to help him be his best self.

Stella balances him out beautifully. She’s more on the chill side, happy to take things at her own pace, but always keeping a close eye on her boy to make sure he’s nearby. She’s steady, affectionate and quietly confident.

Both dogs absolutely love walks and car rides, and yes, they are crate trained. Since coming into our care, Stella and Maurice have both had life-changing BOAS (nose and throat) surgeries, which have dramatically improved their breathing and overall quality of life. Being able to breathe properly has been a game changer for them.

Because of their cheeky nature and full-on energy, this pair is not suited to homes with young children or elderly residents, as they can be a bit of a trip hazard when they get excited. They need a confident, experienced home that can provide firm, consistent guidance and continue their training.
