Nature
Rocket is an incredibly smoochy boy who is happiest when he playing wildly or piled up with his siblings for a snooze.

Rocket likes to play hard, tumble often, then wind down with couch cuddles, accompanied by loud, happy purrs that start the moment he is touched. He is loving, affectionate and full of personality.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Rocket has grown up around both adults and very young humans, and is beautifully gentle with everyone he meets. He may be a little unsure at first in new situations, but will warm up quickly with kindness and reassurance.

Rocket hasn’t had experience with dogs or other cats other than his siblings, but with the right introductions he would likely adapt overtime. What he does know for certain is that life is better with a built-in best fur-rend as being a solo cat simply wouldn’t make him purr.

Likes / Dislikes
Rocket loves curling up against you or near you for a sleep, forcing your hand into head and body rubs, climbing onto your chest while you’re seated for face smooshes, weaving around your feet, or just being nearby. Quick cuddles and spontaneous pick-ups are his favourite, and food time? Absolute puur-fection!

He adores climbing his scratching towers, chasing balls, zooming through the cat tunnel, scratching cardboard boards, tumbling over or playing with his siblings, or just soaking up love in equal measure. He is currently eating Ivory Coat Kitten Immunity wet and dry food and is healthy and thriving. Bonus quirk: he will happily ‘help’ with whatever you’re doing, from typing on the laptop to playing board games, because every task is better with a furry helper!

Loud noises can make him scared and send him into hiding, but he is bravely learning to supervise the robot vacuum ‘nemesis’ and is getting pretty good at keeping him in check!

My PURR-fect home would be one where I have a built-in best fur-rend for cuddles, zoomies, and playtime adventures together. I love human attention, so a household where someone is often around to spoil me with cuddles, quick pick-ups, and love would be purr-fect. A calm or moderately active home is ideal, loud noises can be a little scary, but I am brave and curious enough to adjust with gentle introductions. Families who understand the fun of playful kittens, snuggly couch companions, and lots of love to go around would be my dream.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Rocket please come and meet him at Better Pets & Gardens Wangara this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. He will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
