Hello there, my name is Mystery — and I truly am one of those magical little souls who quietly bloom when love finds them. I arrived via the vet as a tiny ball of spice; hissy, scared, and unsure of the world. But within just 24 hours, my Foster Mum discovered the truth — beneath that shy exterior was the sweetest little lovebug waiting to emerge.

Nature
Once I feel safe, I absolutely melt into my humans. I push my whole body in for pats, flop over dramatically for glorious belly rubs, and spring up for face smooches and enthusiastic head boops. I’m incredibly affectionate, purr like a freight train, and I’m a world-class biscuit maker — whether that’s kneading you or adorably kneading the air.

You’ll often hear me before you see me. I love to chat and will happily sing the song of my people if I can’t find you or get close enough for cuddles. I’m gentle, loving, and full of personality once my confidence has time to grow. Patient humans and older, respectful children who allow me to build confidence at my own pace will be rewarded with endless purrs, cuddles, and sweet kitty conversations. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a huge heart — and a lot to say — I might just be your girl.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would be happiest with older, cat-savvy children who understand how to respect my boundaries and allow my confidence to grow. Kids under five may be a little too overwhelming for me.

I’m well-behaved on my own and could live as a solo kitty, but my heart really seems to long for a feline friend — big or small, size doesn’t faze me one bit.

In foster care, I’ve met resident and foster cats through my caboodle and a pet gate, and I’ve been so excited that I’ve tried to bust out just to say hello. With slow, sensible introductions, I should do very well in a home with other cat-friendly pets.

Likes / Dislikes
✅ Pats, cuddles, belly rubs, and face smooches
✅ Toys (now that I’ve figured out what they do!), especially balls, bells, whirly tracks, and anything that bounces
✅ Food in all forms — especially creamy treats
✅ Chatting, singing, and being involved in whatever you’re doing
✅ Using my litter tray like an absolute champion
❌ Loud, sudden noises (I’m only little — who wouldn’t be startled?)
❌ The vacuum (it was scary at first, but I bravely came back out once the shock passed)

My PURR-fect home would be a calm, loving space where I can start a little shy and then blossom into the affectionate, smooch-giving cuddle bug I truly am. A home with another friendly cat would be a dream, but I could also thrive as your one and only if I receive plenty of love and attention.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Mystery please come and meet her at Better Pets & Gardens Wangara this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. She will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
