✨ Meet Astrid: The Gentle Soul
If Cleo is the firecracker of the duo, Astrid is the calm, steady flame. She is a quiet observer who loves to watch the world go by before joining in the fun. Astrid is the perfect "yin" to Cleo’s "yang," and she finds her confidence by following her sister’s bold lead. 🌸
Personality: Gentle, calm, and sweet. She is a low-drama girl who is happy to go with the flow. ☁️
The Observer: Astrid isn't one to rush headfirst into chaos. She prefers to watch from a distance first, making sure the coast is clear before she starts her playtime. 🧐
The Best Friend: She is deeply bonded to her sister, Cleo. She looks to Cleo for cues and feels most secure when her adventurous sister is nearby. 👯♀️
Independent but Loving: While she loves her humans, Astrid is also quite content to play by herself or find a cozy nook for a nap. 🧸
🧶 Astrid’s Favourite Things
Toys: She loves batting around small balls and is a huge fan of silvervine sticks for some relaxed chewing and rolling. 🎾🌿
Favourite Spot: You’ll likely find her tucked away inside a cat tower. She loves the feeling of being "enclosed" and safe while she watches the room. 🏰
Treats: Just like her sister, Astrid is very food-motivated! She isn't picky—if it’s edible, she’s interested. 😋
🏠 The Perfect Home
Astrid is very flexible! As long as she has her sister Cleo by her side, she adapts beautifully to new environments. She would do well in a home that appreciates her quieter nature but still has plenty of toys for her to bat around. 🏡

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
