About Rein
Hi there! My name is Rein. I’m a 2-year-old Belgian Shepherd X looking for my forever home.
I take loyalty seriously — once I choose my person, I’m all in. I’m naturally protective in a calm, sensible way and I respond really well to clear guidance and routine. I like knowing what’s expected of me and I genuinely try my best to do the right thing.
I’m a very intelligent girl, and I show it in how closely I watch and listen to my people. I’m alert without being intense, thoughtful in new situations, and highly tuned in to human cues. I thrive when my mind is engaged and would love a home that enjoys training, enrichment, and giving me things to think about — it helps me feel confident, settled, and fulfilled.
Around the house, I’m mostly very relaxed and happy just being near my people — whether that’s sitting quietly on the deck or keeping an eye on what’s going on. I also have a fun, slightly goofy side and I’m curious, affectionate, and not above getting right up close to investigate what you’re doing.
When I’m with other dogs, my playful side comes out. I love a good run, a friendly wrestle, and interactive play. I’m currently living in a foster home with another dog, and we get along beautifully. My foster carers absolutely adore me and say I’m calm, social, and a joy to have around.
I’m good with children too — gentle, patient, and responsive — and I enjoy being part of everyday family life.
More than anything, I’m looking for connection. I’m the kind of dog who checks in with my people, settles well once I know I belong, and thrives on companionship. Love, attention, an active routine, and time together mean the world to me. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will stand by your side and share both the quiet moments and the fun ones, I might just be your girl.
