Hi! I’m Major and I’m looking for a new family to call my own.

NOTE: You are unable to meet Major until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Major in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I seem to be fine with cats at the shelter but will need a slow introduction.
• I LOVE both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I am a gentle and calm boy most of the time so would be okay with going to a home with children.
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL I receive training in all aspects of my life so I can be the best dog I can be when I'm older.

Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• Very playful with other dogs
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit
• I am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I walk well on lead
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Love to snooze on the couch

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be fussy with food so trialling me on different foods until I find one I like would be appreciated.
