Ed: a purrfect and very endearing gentleman. Ed is an affectionate and easygoing cat who thrives on human companionship. He absolutely adores being held, cuddled and carried around — making him an ideal lap cat for anyone seeking a loyal friend. Ed is a calm, loving and tolerant boy with a relaxed, low-energy disposition. Ed is the ultimate couch companion who's happiest when he's near his people.

Ed is great with young children: he is patient and gentle with them, making him an excellent family cat.

Ed has lived harmoniously with both a rabbit and a large, gentle dog, often cuddling up to sleep beside his canine buddy. Ed may think all dogs are as gentle as the dog in his foster home, so will only suit cat-friendly dogs. Supervision of cats around new dogs is always required.

Ed would flourish living in a family with gentle children, or with seniors, or really anyone looking for a companion. When he's had his fill of socialising, he'll contentedly find a cosy spot to nap.

Ed and his foster sister Brandy have been raised together, and would be happy to be adopted together, but although they are friends who enjoy each other's company they wouldn’t necessarily need to be adopted together as they are not distressed when apart.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip - including the transfer of ownership - and sterilisation.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen cat is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
