About Yuki
😸 Loves other cats and would be happiest in a home with a feline friend
🐶 Untested with dogs
👶🏻 Untested with children, but would probably prefer gentle children only
🏠 Strictly indoors only (a fully enclosed, professionally installed catio is fine)
Sugar meter: 🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬/5
Yuki is a stunning snow-white girl with a gentle heart and so much love to give. As a deaf cat, she experiences the world a little differently, but that only adds to her unique charm.
Yuki absolutely adores the company of other cats and is happiest when she’s hanging out with her feline friends. She’s incredibly affectionate with her kitty companions and would love a home with another friendly cat to keep her company.
Being deaf means Yuki can’t hear herself, so her little cries can sometimes be a bit loud! She’s simply checking in to make sure her people are nearby and that everything is okay. She can also be a little jumpy if you suddenly appear, as she can’t hear you approaching, but she’s quick to settle once she sees it’s you.
Yuki enjoys all the simple pleasures in life. You’ll often find her curled up on the couch, sitting in the window watching the world go by, or patiently waiting in the kitchen with her friends when she knows it’s dinner time. She’s a smart girl and never misses a meal!
At bedtime, Yuki sometimes likes to join her humans on the bed for a cuddle and a pat. When she’s happy, her purr is wonderfully loud and impossible to miss. It’s one of the many ways she shows her love.
Yuki is looking for a patient, loving home that will embrace her deafness as just one small part of who she is. In return, she’ll reward you with companionship, affection, and plenty of purrs.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, sweet-natured girl with a heart of gold, Yuki could be your perfect match.
If you'd like to meet her, please submit an application (see below) – the more information you can provide about your household, lifestyle and history with cats, the better 🤗
Medical notes
Yuki is deaf but she is very keenly aware of everything going on around her and it does not impact her daily life (maybe just don't sneak up on her during naptime).
Adoption details
If interested in a cat that is available for adoption, we require you to fill out an adoption application, and one of our lovely foster carers will give you a call to organise a time for a meet and greet.
Please note: As we are all volunteers with limited time up our sleeves, we prefer all interested potential adopters to fill out an application, rather than send an enquiry, as this helps us know more about you and what you are after, and saves us all a lot of time!
Apply here for a cat or kitten: https://form.jotform.com/sugarandspicecatrescue/cat-adoption-questionnaire
If forms aren't for you though, please SMS us (the number is in the link) and we can call to go through the form over the phone.
