Meet Lily: The Braver-Than-Brave Mumma Bear 🌸👑
If you’re looking for a companion who is the literal definition of "sweetness," look no further than Lily. Despite living most of her life as a stray, Lily has transitioned into indoor life with a grace and bravery that is truly inspiring.
The Ultimate Mumma & Housemate 🐾
Lily isn’t just a survivor; she’s a nurturer. While settling into her foster home and befriending two resident adult cats, she has also been the most incredible Mumma to her six newborn kittens. She has handled a potentially stressful transition with nothing but love and a very loud motor!
Lily’s Favourite Things 💖
-The "Purr-er" & Head-Booper: You’ll hear Lily before you see her! She has a purr that carries "from a mile away" and she loves to greet her humans with gentle, affectionate head boops.
-Conversationalist Extraordinaire: Lily is a super vocal girl. She loves to follow you from room to room, telling you all about her day. Her foster family says her sweet meows are so soothing, they make all the troubles in the world disappear. 🎶
-Churu Connoisseur: If you want to win her heart, the path is through salmon-flavoured Churu treats. It’s her absolute favorite! 🐟🍭
The Perfect Forever Home 🏠
Lily is an easy-going soul who just wants to be part of the family.
-Social or Solo: She has done wonderfully with other adult cats and kittens, so she’d fit right into a multi-cat household. However, she’s so people-oriented that she would also thrive as a pampered solo queen!
-A Patient Heart: Because she spent so much time on the streets, she deserves a home that will appreciate her bravery and give her all the chin scratches she missed out on.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
