Max is a gem when it comes to being around people. He's great with kids and strangers, always welcoming with a gentle disposition and plenty of friendly licks to express affection. Max must be primarily indoors to enable him to be an integral part of the family unit and all this brings.

Although he thrives in a multi-dog household, he does not cohabit well with male dogs or small fluffies and therefore must only be rehomed into the company of a submissive, similar sized female dog companion.

What makes Max truly special is how well-rounded he is as a canine companion. He is generally well-behaved and easy to manage. Unlike many dogs, storms don't faze him, and he's not one to jump fences or cause a racket with barking. Going for walks is one of his favorite activities, and he shines on the leash, making your strolls enjoyable and relaxing. He loves to swim and play fetch, giving you the perfect partner for outdoor adventures.

Max is not without his unique quirks—he's does not get along with cats or small livestock and therefore his new home must not include these. He does however, love his toys but having them by himself is imperative as he has had some minor issues with other male dogs and resource guarding them. While he's a guardian of his treasures, his joyful exuberance is infectious, and with the right match, his loyal heart will bring endless joy and companionship.
