About Lazy Susan
Lazy Susan has been capturing hearts and changing minds. If you used to think greyhounds were “vanilla,” meet Lazy Susan. She is sweet, affectionate, and curious about everything—on top of all the silly, endearing things greyhounds are known to be and do. Lazy Susan is on the outgoing side of the engagement spectrum for her breed and enjoys introducing herself to passersby.
Ideal Home
Lazy Susan’s ideal home will definitely include a sofa she can access. She loves being around her humans, so her needs should be considered when planning work schedules and social commitments. Lazy Susan is still building confidence going down stairs, so a single-story home would put her at ease. A garden big enough for a few zoomies is a plus, but daily walks—and maybe someone willing to run a few sprints now and then—will suit her just fine too.
Energy Level
Lazy Susan is on the more energetic side for a greyhound. She has energy spurts first thing in the morning and again as the sun starts to go down. She loves dinner time and brings plenty of playful enthusiasm to it. Outside of these bursts, she is very much a classic greyhound couch potato.
Suitability With Children
Susan would be best with children 6 and up, she is a very gentle gal.
Suitability With Other Dogs or Cats
Lazy Susan currently lives happily with her foster sister and has done well with other medium to large dogs while in care and prior to foster placement. She is fine with small dogs on leash but her sight hound instincts mean they're are little too tempting to chase off leash so best she doesn't live with a small dog or cats.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
