About Lola
🌸 Meet Lola — Tiny Body, Big Attitude 🌸
Lola is a 17-week-old Pug x Terrier bundle of confidence, curiosity, and cheeky charm. Don’t let her small size fool you — this little lady plays like she’s ten times bigger and has a personality that fills the room!
Lola came into care as a young pup from a private surrender and has already shown just how smart, adaptable, and loving she is. She’s a happy, energetic girl who thrives on companionship, playtime, and being part of the action.
🐶 Training & Home Life
Lola is already toilet trained and confidently uses a doggy door — pretty impressive for such a young pup!
She isn’t formally crate trained, but after her desexing she has happily relaxed in a crate when needed and remains calm and settled.
⚡ Energy & Personality
This girl is energetic, playful, and full of beans. She loves being outdoors, zooming around the yard, and soaking up the sunshine near big windows.
Lola can be a bit vocal when she spots strangers around the house — she takes her “tiny guard dog” role very seriously 😉
🐾 Social Butterfly
✔️ Great with kids — she’s been wonderful with a 4-month-old and a 4-year-old, and would love children over 2 who can play chase with her
✔️ Excellent with other dogs — big or small, she fits right in
✔️ Would strongly prefer a home with another dog — she gets lonely without canine company and absolutely thrives when she has a dog buddy
❓ Not yet cat or small-animal tested
Her favourite playtime? Tug-of-war with her Labrador foster brother — yes, she holds her own! 😅
🐕 Walks & Adventures
Lola enjoys walks and currently does around 20 minutes in the backyard while learning the ropes.
She’s still working on her lead manners and can get excited by birds and new sights — but with her intelligence and love of treats, she’ll pick this up quickly.
💕 The Lola Extras
✨ Super smart and a quick learner
✨ Loves cuddles just as much as playtime ✨ Copies other dogs’ habits (the good and bad — supervision required!) ✨ Small and agile — secure fencing is a must ✨ Very fast and very clever
Homes with pools or wider metal fencing will need to be extra vigilant, as Lola can squeeze through surprisingly small spaces.
🛁 Grooming
Low-maintenance coat — easy baths at home, with nail trims only needed at the groomer.
🏡 Ideal Home
Lola would thrive in a home with:
✔️ Another friendly dog
✔️ Secure, tight fencing
✔️ Space to play and run
✔️ A family who will include her in daily life
If you’re looking for a bold, affectionate, playful little sidekick who will keep you smiling and on your toes, Lola might just be your perfect match 💛🐾

Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.

Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
