About Chop and Zara
Meet Chop and Zara,
These 2 are a bonded pair looking for their new home!
Unfortunately due to no fault of their own, they are being rehomed.
Being Kelpie x jack Russell this pair can be quite energetic and would love a home who can take them on regular walks and adventures.
They can bark when bored, which is why an active home would suit best.
They loves to play with toys and do zoomies in the backyard. They also don't mind a good sunbake.
Chop knows to 'sit' and 'drop' and also knows to wait for his food. Zara knows 'sit' and to wait for her food.
They both have had minimal socialising with other dogs (aside from each other) and would benefit from more training and socialising.
Both are great with cats, although will need a tolerating cat as they love to play with cats.
They are also both great with kids.
They are more of a pocket sized kelpie and both weigh around the 12kg mark.
They can be a bit weary of new people, but warm up quickly.

Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
