Hi there! I’m Hawkins — yes, like the town from Stranger Things. No Demogorgons here though… just me, a small, bouncy greyhound with a very big heart.
I might be turning three, but don’t let that fool you — I’m still very puppy-like, delightfully silly, and proudly goofy in the best possible way. I’m on the smaller side, which just makes my antics even cuter.
You may notice I always look a little surprised. That’s thanks to an eye condition called PRA, which keeps my eyes dilated and gives me my signature “oh wow!” expression. Right now I have partial vision impairment, and one day I’ll likely be blind — but honestly? I don’t let that slow me down one bit. I’m a happy little munchkin who focuses on the good stuff: people, pats, cuddles, toys, treats, and more pats (did I mention pats?).
I love humans and have so much affection to give. I also did brilliantly in recent alone-time testing, settling myself beautifully and snoozing until my human returned — pretty impressive, if I do say so myself.
I love meeting new canine friends, if they don’t mind that I get a little excited at first.
I could also live with children aged 5+, as long as they’re kind and understand that I’ll need some quiet space while I settle into home life.
If you’re looking for an adorable, lovable, slightly bouncy little lad who will fill your days with joy, laughs, and endless love — well… Hawkins is the name.
