When she arrived, she was fearful, hid under the coffee table and snarled if I went too close.
2 days later, ventured out to sniff me and then got in her bed. Eventually the shy tentative sniff became a nudge and a wag of tail, then she asked to join me on my chair and then my lap.

She is fearful of strangers and self-protective. She has become my shadow around the house.

Likes other calm dogs as far as I can tell, would do fine on her own.
She met cat at vet clinic, and they just sniffed each other, nothing negative, but this is the one and only cat interaction I have seen.

She has become a funny inquisitive and very sweet little girl, barks occasionally but not to excess, generally only as required, e.g. someone at the door, though does like a spontaneous bark whilst in car.

Loves a walk and does a little dance when she sees I have her lead.

Not food focused at all, though loves a nibble of anything her human is eating.

At bedtime she will jump on my bed and get zoomies whilst trying to get her tail. She may then spend the night on the bed or choose to go to her bed. She tends to graze on her food bowl overnight.

She will love to be a Lap Dog or get involved with the family though she still is not sure of sudden movements or loud noises. Not an issue with Fireworks or Thunderstorms though, did not react at all.

Please note: Kiaora will require 2 - 3 meet and greets to slowly adjust to her new family and feel comfortable to interact. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to this.
