🌟 Personality & Backstory
Meet Muffin — a truly special girl with the biggest heart. 🍰 Muffin came into care after being surrendered through no fault of her own, and she quickly showed just how wonderful she is. In foster care, Muffin has been an exceptional mum, lovingly raising her five kittens and making sure they thrived every step of the way.
Now that her mothering duties are winding down, it’s Muffin’s turn to be spoiled. She’s a friendly, affectionate cat who adores human company and is always happy to greet you — especially if food is involved! Muffin is very food-motivated (treats are absolutely the way to her heart) and won’t hesitate to remind you when it’s mealtime.
She has a soft spot for chin scratches and gentle pats, leaning right in and purring contentedly while soaking up the love. Easy-going and people-focused, Muffin enjoys being part of the family and spending time with her humans.
Muffin would make a wonderful companion for a home looking for a sweet, loving cat who enjoys affection and companionship. After giving so much love to her kittens, she’s more than ready to settle into a forever home where she can relax, be cherished, and receive all the love she so deeply deserves. 🐾💕
If you’re searching for a grateful, affectionate soul to complete your home, Muffin might just be your perfect match.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
