🌟 Personality & Backstory
Meet Pia — a gentle soul who is quietly blossoming, one brave step at a time. 🐾 Though she may be shy at first, Pia’s potential is huge, and her soft, thoughtful nature makes her a true heart-stealer in the making.
Pia and her five siblings came into care after being born outdoors, joining rescue at around 6 weeks old. Since then, she’s been learning that humans are kind, safe, and bring wonderful things like food, play, and gentle pats.
Naturally cautious but incredibly sweet, Pia prefers to observe the world from a safe perch, taking everything in before deciding when to join the fun. Recently, she’s made lovely progress — she’s far more comfortable sharing space with people and no longer darts away when someone enters the room.
Her curiosity continues to grow, and Pia will even hop onto the bed when you’re sitting there, choosing closeness on her own terms. Not a lap kitten (yet!), but very much a heart-stealer in the making 🖤 Pia is searching for a patient, kind adopter who understands that trust takes time.
For the right person, watching Pia’s confidence grow and becoming the one she learns to trust will be incredibly special — and deeply rewarding. ✨

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
