Poppy is a sweet and sensitive kitty who just needs a little extra patience and understanding to truly shine. She's looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel secure and build confidence at her own pace.
To help Poppy settle in, she'll need to start in a small, quiet launch room before exploring the rest of the house. Big open spaces can feel overwhelming for her, so giving her time to adjust is key.
Poppy will thrive in a home with plenty of cozy hiding spots-think cardboard boxes, cat igloos, and comfy nooks-as well as scratching posts and cat trees. She also loves having safe spaces up high, like shelves or dressers, where she can watch the world from a distance until she's ready to join in.
Her ideal adopter will be patient and understanding, someone who knows that Poppy may be timid at first but, with time and gentle encouragement, will reveal her sweet personality. Teens or older children who can read basic cat body language and respect her need for space would be a great fit.
