Cornelius - Adoption Pending

Update 9/8/11

cornelius went on trial with a lovely family, but unfortunately a home with young children and another cat has proved to be too much for him and he is once again looking for his perfect forever home. Cornelius will need a quiet adult home and while he has previously lived with other cats, i feel that he would be better suited to an only cat home. Cornelius will need an owner that understands that he will take time to settle and become comfortable and is happy to work with him to help him overcome his fears. --------------

cornelius is a whole lot of cat! he's imposingly large and is not going to be the right cat for everyone, but for someone that appreciates his attributes he will be an amazing addition to your home!

cornelius did not have a good life prior to coming into care, and this is evident in is timid and hand shy demeanor, but he is making quick progress with this, and i have no doubt he will over come it and become a confident and affectionate boy. It is clear that cornelius wants to be affectionate and wants to be patted, loved and adored, but he first needs to be completely comfortable with his environment and his people. There is no doubt it will take a special kind of person to adopt cornelius but that person will be rewarded with the most magnificent cat with a huge personality!

cornelius is a talker, and i don't just mean he likes to have a meow, he actually talks! i know it sounds silly, but i have heard at least half a dozen words come out of his mouth, he is utterly entertaining to listen to and he will answer you when you speak to him, so for those who like to have a good chat with their cat, you will actually get an answer from him!
