About Tuppence
*In foster care in Wiley Park, Sydney*
Full of personality and spirit, Tuppence is a total sweetheart - the perfect mix of easygoing and affectionate! She loves lounging on the bed with you, relaxing in her hammock by the window and following you around the house.
Most of the time this little cutie is calm and chill, but you’ll know when the zoomies are coming - her eyes turn completely black, and she pounces on her toys with leonine intent. She also has a hilarious 'silly mouth' moment: if she smells something she doesn’t like, she’ll open her mouth wide in shock, then shake her head as if she’s trying to shake off the experience!
While her vibe is relaxed, Tuppence is also very sociable and interactive. Every morning, she greets you with a precious pony hop and boops your hand with her head. And when she wants attention or food, she stands up like a meerkat, 'begging' with her front paws held high. (See video!) She's a chatterbox too, often replying when you talk to her. Bonding with her special human comes naturally to this darling girl!
An absolute superstar in every way, Tuppence is funny and quirky, absolutely gorgeous, and guaranteed to make you giggle :)
Like all Maggie’s pets, Tuppence is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I thrive in a calm environment with a consistent routine. While I enjoy lazing around during the day, having someone at night for cuddles and affection is important to me - so a household where you're home more often than not would suit me best.
Hopefully I'll also have lots of toys to play with, and a cosy window perch where I can watch the world go by and chat to the birds. Sounds like heaven!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Now that I’m a retired mother, I'm free to spend most of the day chilling by your side and waking up for pats. But don’t let my laidback nature fool you - I still have plenty of spunk! When night falls, it’s zoomy time. Pom-poms make me go absolutely crazy, tunnels make my little butt wiggle, and feather wands turn me into a track star doing laps around the living room :) I’d love someone to play with me when it’s playtime, but I’m also perfectly happy entertaining myself if needed.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: As long as any children in the home have a kind and gentle touch, I’ll be just fine! If they respect me, I’ll respect them.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I’ve recently done the whole 'raising babies' thing (exhausting!), so for now, I’d prefer no other cats in the home please. Once I’ve settled into my new space, I might be open to being a loving mother figure to a new kitten brother or sister.
As for dogs - they’re a mystery to me at this stage!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
